Two words of advice you rarely hear.
Tobias van Schneider

This is great! Not only is being useful (to someone else, or just in general) something that can give you a great sense of reward, but as simply a way to go about your day it is such a positive approach to have and this always tends to pay off.

It’s important too to know what your uses are — claim them, share & promote them, and fulfil them. If you know you’re good at something (and are telling others that you are) then live up to it: even if it’s just something that’s been a hobby. The best thing about having a useful hobby is that you will always enjoy learning more about it, and therefore are always increasing the value of your usefulness.

Being put to use in an area you enjoy will more often than not inspire you to greatness in that area. So many possibilities!
