Writing Automated Tests is EASY

For the past week or two I have been teaching myself SpecFlow at work and have converted one of our NUnit tests to SpecFlow. It was my first time setting up a SpecFlow test environment, and now that I know how to set up my own test environment, I have gone crazy. Why? Because you can do so much with testing. You can even figure out some cool hacks for the internet by writing a task and wrapping it with a loop so it can complete that task multiple times in a short period that would take a normal person FOREVER to complete.

From what I have learned, writing automated tests is kind of like programming your own little web surfing robot. It will do everything you tell it to do, and it is SO fun. Nothing is more satisfying than figuring out flaws in someone’s software, or application. Something they probably didn’t even know was there, and now you know something they don’t. HA!
