Section 2: Social Medias Impact on Business

Social media has made its way into every part of our lives. Into business, our social circles, business, politics, family everything and that can be a good thing and a bad thing. For business it can help it grow through reaching people that our business wouldn’t usually reach. According to business2community.com they stated that ” Net savvy companies are using social media to advertise their products, build customer loyalty and many other functions”. So this statement lets us look at just one side of the coin, stating that if a company can reach its target audience online, then there’s really no limit to the company’s reach for consumers. On the other side however according to smallbusiness.chron.com Business marketing now involves personal engagement with customers; campaigns that do not invite consumer interaction risk being unsuccessful”. So this statement tells us those businesses without a social media presence that rely independently from “one on one” interaction or business like tradesman, don’t really benefit from social media. So with this in mind not all business can benefit from social media.
