Hey Navjot,
Very fair concern! The new experience knows how much time you’ve had to cancel leading up to the trip, and will never penalize you for a “last minute” cancellation if your trip is so soon after the deadline. So, don’t worry! And remember, the app will always tell you exactly what to expect.
Also, if you choose to “Customize your trip” because of the match you received as a Driver, you will not be charged. So no need to worry there either.
