When you ask me to vote for Hillary

At the end of a long cruddy day I think, “I guess I will have to vote for Hillary.” But in the morning, when I am optimistic, I think, “I want to vote for Bernie.” I have had fat years when we all went to the beach for two weeks and lean years where I had to borrow the money for a kids graduation dress.
For 15 years I have had to buy our family insurance on the individual market, and when I couldn’t get insurance for my son with autism I had to put him on medi-cal in order to get coverage. I will never get over the feeling that the meter is always running, and my bill is getting higher with every breath I take.
And not voting for Bernie is like giving up on the idea that that could ever change. Thank you for helping me clarify my thoughts.
