Audio Twitter with Apple Watch

20 seconds of audio is the new 140 characters

One advantage of the new Apple Watch is quick audio recordings. A person will no longer have to dig in their pocket to record a quick thought. Here’s a quick concept I came up with for an audio version of Twitter made for Apple Watch.

Home Screen

When a user first opens the app they have the option to either play the latest recordings of their friends or record a new audio clip to share.

Record Mode

Taping the record button will bring up the recorder. Tap once to record. The user will have the options of recording for 20 seconds or tap again before 20 seconds are over to end a recording. They will then be able to play back their recording and have an option to share it or delete it.

Play Mode

Audio recordings will continuously play, starting from the oldest recording to the newest recording. Swipe left or right to go to the previous or next recording. Tap once to pause, tap again to play. Tap and hold to exit to the home screen.
