I keep hearing this argument “my non mining full node will reject that block” but what exactly does this mean? Do you alert the naughty miner police? Do you send a nuke all naughty miner message to the network? Rejecting blocks only counts for miners who decide to not build on top of a block. The only reason I can think of for running a non mining node is to hold an extra copy of the blockchain.
