Treadmill of Doom
Hello world, my name is Jonathan Morales and I’m a senior at Southern Oregon University. I currently play for the men’s soccer team here, and I have played soccer my whole life on many different teams. At the last college that I attended, we had a great work out facility room where they had all types of workout equipment. One negative part to this was that everybody had access to it, which meant there were constantly a lot of people in there. Usually this wouldn’t bother me, because I’m a pretty outgoing person, so I was comfortable with most of the people in there. Typically, I stick to weights, or bench press, but on one particular day, I did not. One day, I decided to jump on the treadmill and burn a few calories doing some good old fashioned cardio. Well, little did I know that upon burning some calories I would give everyone else, including the women’s soccer team, an interesting show. While running on the treadmill, I fell and my shorts and boxers decided to fall right off. If falling wasn’t embarrassing enough. My face immediately turned bright red and I tried to pull up my boxers and shorts up as quickly as possibly. I think it was almost inevitable for at least a few people to see though. Everybody started to laugh and tease and I can’t really blame them, I would have laughed if that had happened to someone else, which I wish it did. It is safe to say that I became more comfortable with the people that were there that day, and they got a little more comfortable with me. Although, that story was, and still is, pretty embarrassing, I can find the humor in it, so might as well share the humor right?
