Pen & Paper or Keyboard & Computer Screen?

I prefer a pencil and a piece of paper to jot down my thoughts and ideas. I’m not against technology; I’m just still a little old school. With just a few clicks of the mouse anyone can dive into a world of information written by someone else…
Instead of using your own critical thinking it seems much easier to get ideas from others.
But what’s wrong with that? Nothing I suppose.
Writing on paper may take a little longer, nor may it be as efficient, but it’s more meaningful and thought-out. Not saying writing elsewhere is bad or not written with a purpose.
With new digital platforms arising daily, old school ways of physically writing have been washed down the drain. It is a new way to express feelings, ideas and relay general information.
Through digital media, Internet and website users can interact with each other much faster and get responses immediately. Digital writing usually ‘captures the eye’ of its audience by a simple picture or title, not because it’s necessarily interesting or educational.
Short. Short. Short.
Most articles found in the media world are short compared to that of something hand written or printed.
Believe it or not, I enjoy length. Well thought out ideas.
Perhaps I will soon be accommodated to the digital media age…
