Just have to wait for the bad reviewers to die and for others to come around, that’s all it takes.

In all seriousness, I’m so glad this film has finally been released fully restored and loaded with plenty of special features. It’s a terrific movie that stands the test of time.

I remember watching The Thing for the first time in 7th grade and being so amazed and horrified. Aside from the incredible special effects used for the alien’s gruesome transformations, the haunting score was perfect for the frozen setting. And it stays with you.
