thanks for jacking my comment from the article on the Ball family! (kidding, its a pretty obvious comparison)

side note: his odd form is pretty easily explained — when kids start shooting from long distances at an early age, they don’t have the strength to get the ball to the rim from 25 feet using normal/proper shooting form, so they heave it from their chest/clavicle. thanks to his dad, Ball has clearly been shooting from long range for his entire life, resulting in his funky shot form. he’s a good shooter, but it makes me wonder how he will fare getting his shot off in the NBA. (curry has a low release too, but has one of the fastest release times i’ve ever seen. Ball does not.)
