I think generally humans are quite bad at making predictions.

We overestimate some factors and underestimate others. When all is said and done, however, we tend to overfit the results and credit our ego — our own doing — with the success.

More than likely, luck and timing were actually the biggest determinants in our success.

If you make enough predictions, at least one is likely to come true…

Nonetheless, I would like to start using my blog as a means for me to make predictions about a future state of the world. I have already done this a few times…but the idea of having a public track record of my beliefs/predictions is quite fascinating to me.

More than likely, I will be wrong often.

I am not going to pretend to be someone I am not. I do not have magic super powers. I cannot see the future perfectly.

I can only, like anyone else, give my best guess.

But we all have to start somewhere…right?
