Joylent, the Dutch Soylent: Day 25

Breakfast: 9:10am

Pre-Breakfast weight: 209 pounds. Wakeup time: 7:20am

It’s pretty depressing start to the week. Currently waiting for a plumber to turn up to see why my bathroom has sprung a leak and it’s coming through my ceiling downstairs. The cost in Joylent is astronomical.

I’ve had a good weekend spent drinking and eating too much with friends, and suffering now for it. The problem with writing a blog that includes your daily weight fluctuation is that it causes a lot of performance anxiety. Though I mentioned before that a Joylent only diet will probably lead to weight loss, I’m gaining that back in poor choices when I do have the occasional meal out. In other words, it’s my own damn fault.

I keep saying I need to get back to the boxing club, but I’m hitting a mad rush with work at the moment. When I do make it back, I’ll let you know.

Pro tip: Wash your damn shakers. Seriously. The smell of Joylent when it’s been fermenting in a shaker for a couple of days because you went away is disgusting. Like, really horrible. Be good and wash that shaker the moment you finish your meal.


Dinner: 9:50pm

Lunch was a write-off due to the stress of the bathroom fix which is nowhere near being resolved at the moment. Having a late dinner whilst catching up on work.
