Wednesday’s breakfast

It’s been a really busy three days for me, so apologies for not getting any updates. That’s the nature of freelance work: you’re either struggling to fill the days when things are quiet (thankfully I keep myself occupied), or it’s a complete mad rush on. The rest of the month falls into the ‘mad rush’ category. On that note, Joylent has been totally great in stepping up on the ‘no time to think about food front’ though I’ve now come to the conclusion that it is very difficult for me to keep to a 100% Joylent diet. In a way, that’s good.

Wendnesday lunch: Jerk chicken with Ting

Wednesday I was in a photography studio about some upcoming projects in south London, and it’s not often I get to enjoy jerk chicken. It’s fantastic and just edged out my alternative which would’ve been curried goat. The meeting lasted much later than anticipated and I ended up having tacos for dinner.

Food Cravings

Over the last two days, it’s been Joylent and curry. There’s no doubt about it, I’m craving regular food on an everyday basis. That is not to say I’m not enjoying Joylent. On the contrary, it is absolutely what I need in my life and despite my friends’ fears about the long term effects, for now, I’ve not experienced any adverse effects. That being said, I think you really appreciate eating regular food when you have it, which is great in my opinion. Nearly a month in, my conclusion is that it would make a great substitute for breakfast and lunch, but I’ll go for a regular meal for dinner. 66% Joylent is a convenient way to go.
