The GitHub pull request builder should automatically detect published JUnit test results in Jenkins and use those results in its success or failure message.

I’d start troubleshooting with these steps:

  1. Verify that GitHub pull request builder is installed in Jenkins.
  2. Verify that you have a Post-build Action for “Publish JUnit test result report.”
  3. Verify that you are running tests in your Jenkins job with test<build-variant>. For example, testDevelopmentDebug. If the tests aren’t run, there won’t be anything to publish.
  4. Verify that the path to the JUnit report is correct. The example I used was for a particular project. Make sure you use a path based on your build variant.

app/build/test-results/<build-variant>/*xml

You can always check that your test results path is correct by looking in the Jenkins Workspace for that job.

I hope that helps!
