Now that the summer is running away from us and coming to an end, I have about one more month to do all the things I have yet to do! so tell me Colorado what is there to do?

Washington park

Wash Park is really Denver’s green gem with so much to do. The path covers 165 acres that makes it Denver’s largest park. It started as one of Denver’s first suburbs so spend some time getting back to your roots. Whatever you decide to do, stop and smell the flowers in the largest garden in Denver. Run, walk or bike across the Outerloop right around two and half miles, or just stick to the tennis courts and stay close to the lakes where you can rent kayaks and paddle boats!

Colorado Capital and Civic Center

You would think the capital of the State would be kind of boring, but Denver’s capital is far from the norm with Capitol Hill hugging one side and the Civic Center hugging the other. There is absolutely no reason you could not find something to do there! Join your friend for coffee at Trump coffee and enjoy the Roaster and the latte art. Take a tour at the Molly Brown house! Tours start at 10am and go till 4pm. tickets are $8 for adults $5 for children.

After that, head to the Civic Center where you can find a wide variety of food trucks (foodtruckrow.com).

Trucks will be at the Denver Civic Center:

8/18 @ 11–2PM

8/20 @11–2PM

8/25 @11–2PM

8/27 @11–2PM

9/1 @11–2PM

Grab some food and take it over to the Capital, not a far walk at all! Rumor has it you’re exactly at 5281 miles above sea level when you’re standing on the 13th step.

Who knows maybe I’m pretty biased for the state, but all I know is I’ve got one month left in a ton of fun ahead of me. Hope to see you at some of these events!

Yours Truly,

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
