At Represent, we know that creating a resume is an often laborious and outdated process, and we’ve built our product to solve these problems. Not a day goes by where we aren’t inspired to do better for our users. Over the past year, we worked on building an entirely new Represent from the ground-up, with some incredible improvements, and a focus on creating beautiful resumes for everyone.
From students to company founders, we’ve been amazed at how so many of you have been able to showcase your lives on something that we built, and with great response. We cherish the emails where you say how easy Represent was to use, all the way to how we helped you land a job. These moments are what make building Represent such an amazing experience for us. It all leads up to today, where we are incredibly excited and honored to announce that Represent is partnering with The Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program (HPREP) at Harvard Medical School in order to impact the lives of students.
The Health Professions Recruitment and Exposure Program (HPREP) at Harvard Medical School (HMS) is a free high school enrichment program run by medical and graduate students to recruit high school students from underserved and underrepresented minority backgrounds into careers in science and medicine. The program’s long-term goal is to eliminate disparities in physician and scientist training, health care treatment, and health care access. HPREP’s leadership believes that every person, regardless of background, should have an equal opportunity to pursue a science or medicine-related career.
HPREP is an amazing program geared towards enriching the lives of the students who have the honor to participate. We feel so privileged to be able to partner with an institution like Harvard to help improve programs like HPREP in order to continue to help others create a beautiful and professional resume.
Represent not only solves the problem of a lack of structure, but does so in a vibrant, accessible way that the students are familiar with. Represent has been generous enough to provide us with an amazing deal making it such that we can provide life-time access to their platform, analytics, and cloud based hosting free of charge to all of our HPREP students.
