Is ‘white men' too easy? I mean, you say ‘Syria' and ‘Chinese' but don’t trace anything about any of the film makers beyond a representative ‘colour' of their skin. The broad strokes painted by ‘white' ignore national, ethnic, and religious boundaries that seem to draw nuance everywhere else. To me, it seems lazy…
