Ray Allen a legend that say goodbye to the NBA

“Everything I know now . . . the pitfalls, the highs and lows, everything . . . it taught me and made stronger”.

Ray Allen

The beginning of the last week was sad for the real fans of the NBA because Ray Allen the best triple- shooting in the history of the basketball announced his retirement to the world through a letter to ‘The Player’s Tribune’. In this letter he describes his life, he played and all memories that he has for his years in college, his first game how professional player until his last game with the Miami Heats.

Ray Allen was the number 5 pick of the first round in 1996 and was chosen by the Minnesota Timberwolves, after being elected, he was traded along with Andrew Lang to Milwaukee Bucks for Stephon Marbury. His years as a rookie there were amazing, but in 2003, he again was traded to the Seattle Supersonics. There he won most prestigious and now he was one face more of the NBA. In 2008 he won his first NBA championship with the Boston Celtics along with Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce.

He won another NBA championship with Miami Heat in 2013 along with LeBron James. Actually he has the record for the most three-point shots in the NBA with 2,973, he won the three point contest in 2001 and has two gold medals with the USA basketball team.

Every fan of NBA have a good memory of Ray Allen, he teach to players how they can be better player. In my opinion the people will never forget to Ray Allen because when he played the people had their trust in him and they knew that if his team were losing he could do the impossible for win the game.
