Truth is, Indian roads are not ready for autonomous cars. We should focus on infrastructure development and maintenance before allowing self driving cars on road. Otherwise, it may result in even worst scenarios. Very basic requirements such as side lanes, traffic signals are still not available on most Indian roads. Indian IT companies does sell services to other countries, we could provide IP solutions on self driving cars for other countries. There are Indian companies that’s already working on next level of autonomous driving, like C-ITS. So, for Indian students, gaining knowledge on these kinda tech is important. Yeah, Udacity helps a lot.
