Driving transformation

I’m studying Driving Transformation at Hyper Island, a blended learning program designed to help me drive real change in my organisation and lead transformation processes. Part of my work on the program is to spend some time each week reflecting around the topics I have been studying then sharing those reflections here to gain input and comments from my peers. In a process of transformation, leadership is essential to guide people durint the path and maintain motivationbeing aware of the barriers that we will encounter along the way. In fact, media agenciee urgently need to make this change because communication landscape has changed radically and we run the risk of losing competitiveness. “niche” agencias are more agile to implant new ways of thinking and it will affect business results in mid-term. That is why we can not delay the change

During this first week of the course I have realized the following points to implement:

Challenge: It is a common challenge and how should I transmit it. The whole team must be part of the process of change

Focus: A big change is full of difficulties so it´sessential to keep the focus of where we have to go. In my case offering integrated communication solutions

No fear to fail: To achieve great successes you have to fail along the way.

Work culture based on collaboration and the distribution of tasks instead of management

Following these steps and applying them in the day to day will be much easier the transformation process.
