I have on a 20-year-old polypropylene “sweater” from Patagonia, indistinguishable from new. They quickly figured out how to circumvent the pilling of their fleece of the early 80s. I expect it to last many more years — best “water bottles” I ever bought.

Chouinard and Patagonia have done much for right livelihood since the co. named Chouinard started making mountaineering gear available in places like Seattle’s The Swallow’s Nest c. ’77. Got my orange top in mainstreamed company store, also Seattle, 20 years later. Few clothing items I have are as ethically sound. But I try, and networks for same are growing.
