Purpose vs. Personality

Jonas, spot on my man. Loved the head underwater lesson. It gets real clear real quick. One of my favourite books, Viktor Frankle’s, Mans Search for Meaning speaks to this very thing beautifully. He even created a whole new method of therapy around it. Developed by Viktor Frankl, the theory is founded on the belief that human nature is motivated by the search for a life purpose; logotherapy is the pursuit of that meaning for one’s life. And if you didn’t know, Frankl’s theories were heavily influenced by his personal experiences of suffering and loss in Nazi concentration camps. Pretty amazing. Even the Bible is pretty darn clear, “People without vision (purpose) get board and die. Well, they actually use the word “parish” but same thing. That’s asking a different question like I’ve heard you speak to time and time again “How can I serve?” It’s pretty hard to hit the pillow at night and not feel good after you’ve helped someone. Oh, and for the record, you help me everyday with your writings. Sleep well brother!
