Trump’s ban would make sense if it were aimed at all 49 Muslim countries, including those that inflict public beatings on women for adultery or accuse women of being raped, while allowing the rapist to go free, as in Indonesia. Or cutting off hands and ordering executions for trivial offences like Saudi-Arabia and Iran. Or banning lawless Muslim states like Pakistan, where most of the jihadists train. But he didn’t, he probably has business interests in those countries.
