Time for Adopting Fidäl (ፊደል) as the Alphabet of African National Languages

I have a proposal for the Africa cultural emancipation: adopting the fidäl (ፊደል) scripture and wringing system for all national languages in each country of the continent. This means, for example, all the 4 national languages in Congo 🇨🇩 (Kikongo, Lingala, Tshiluba and Swahili) would be learned in fidäl (ፊደል) alphabet from primary schools to Universities.

China 🇨🇳, Russia 🇷🇺, Japan 🇯🇵, Korea, Arab nations and other countries develop sciences, technologies, businesses, culture and arts, etc. with their own alphabetical scriptures and writing systems… African countries are the only ones that do not use their own alphabets, with the exception of Ethiopia 🇪🇹.

The first known scripture, writing and alphabet systems were invented in Africa. Even mathematics and sciences were invented in Africa… It is in Africa that agriculture, mathematics, writing systems and all of the foundation of the human civilization as known today were invented when most of Europe, Asia and North America were covered of mass ices during the last Ice Age. It is almost impossible to develop agriculture without mastering metallurgy works. Yet Africa mastered metallurgy and agriculture during the Ice Age when most the emerged lands of the Earth plant were covered with ices.

There are many ancient writing systems known in Africa, among which are:

  • Ethiopic Writing System
  • Egyptian (Kemetic) Hieroglyphs
  • Afan Oromo Writing System
  • Sudanic Writing System
  • Nsibidi Writing System (Southern Nigeria)
  • Edo/Benin Writing Sytem
  • Tifinagh Writing System (Libyan ancient writing system)
  • Bamum Writing System (now in Cameroon)
  • Kikakui Writing System ( Ancient Sierra Leone)
  • N’ko Writing System (Ancient Guinea)
  • Mandombe Writing System (Ancient Congo)
  • Shumom Writing System

Among these ancient wringing systems, the Kemetic one is the most known.

If the learning of African languages by using fidäl (ፊደል) as alphabet is adopted from the primary schools to universities across Africa; this will be a game changer for the future of the continent…

African Union should design and develop education programs to support national governments in implementing the usage of fidäl (ፊደል) alphabet for national languages education and learning programs.

In Congo 🇨🇩, adopting the fidäl (ፊደል) alphabet for national languages will be part of our strategy for ending National Humiliation…

I just want to invite my fellow African Brothers to never forget that the legacy from our History was not made only in the last 6 centuries, neither in the last 20 ones… Our roots have more than 6000 years of unwritten History…

From now, we have a choice: either forging our future on the discontinuity of the last 2000 years, or building it on the foundation of the continuity of the previous 4000 years before the discontinuity… Each of us has this choice to make for present and next generations…

We should not be impressed by the modern technologies. They are one of the variables of human society; not part of their constant parameters! Technologies and other variables evolve and change generation after generation… Their mastering makes the rise and fall of empires… However there are constant parameters that structure what we call Human Civilization since the first moment of the Awakening of the Human Spirit. We have been the Masters of these constant parameters… Time has come to recover our roots for building our future…

We Humans have our home between two burning stars, which will end up by disappearing: the Sun above our heads and the core of Earth in fusion below our foots. Between both, everything is just vanities of Vanity! Let be Humble and Wise! Humiliation of nations have always ended up in calamities…

Emancipating ourselves from the flaws of the last 6 centuries in our collective heritage is a must in recovering our place in the building of the Human Civilization…
