How I Passed the AWS Cloud Practitioner Exam in 3 Weeks
Introduction:
The AWS Cloud Practitioner Exam is an entry-level certification that tests your knowledge of cloud computing and AWS services. I took the exam to boost my career in Information Technology and to gain a better understanding of cloud computing. With only 3 weeks to prepare, I knew I had to be efficient with my studying and make the most of my time. I wrote my exam on 10th March 2023 and passed. Here are the details about the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner.
Preparing for the Exam:
To prepare for the exam, I used a combination of online courses, practice exams, and AWS documentation. I started by taking the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01) a free course by A Cloud Guru which helped me to obtain knowledge and an excellent understanding of the Amazon Cloud Platform and Technologies. I also used the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certification Course (CLF-C01 Youtube course by Andrew WC Brown of ExamPro. For the practice exams, I used the six sets of practice exams from A Cloud Guru which I highly recommend. They helped me get a sense of the types of questions that would be on the exam. Finally, to access the six practice exams by A Cloud Guru I had to pay a $35 subscription which is worth it.
One tip I have for others preparing for the exam is to focus on the AWS Well-Architected Framework. This framework provides a set of best practices for designing and operating reliable, secure, efficient, and cost-effective systems in the cloud. It was a major focus of the exam; understanding it well will help you answer many of the questions on the exam.
