Abla Hamza, I can understand how you would want to try and find some stability in your life. Sometimes, it’s hard to really put 100% into your work when you’re basic needs aren’t being met. The good news is that you seem to have a specific set of skills, so I’d suggest you first spend time reflecting on what unique advantage that set of skills provides you then finding some sort of target role or industry where those skills are specifically sought after and valued. Once you’ve done that, it’s about positioning yourself accordingly, and building a clear personal brand so you can stand out with those hiring managers who are seeking those skills.

Easier said than done, I realize. But if you take it step by step, I think you can get there. Sometimes, the people with the most non-traditional and unique backgrounds are more easily able to stand out amongst a sea of traditional candidates.

If you want more guidance on how to think through this, you might find some of my personal branding articles useful. Good luck!
