Ad Blockers: blocking the real issue

Thanks for taking the time to write this and sharing your thoughts Jamie. I agree with the analysis and point of view overall, but I think we’re letting the users off too easy here. Regardless of the moral arguments (many of them valid) that one may exercise against the implied advertising contract that powers the free web, it’s hard to ignore that for a large swath of users out there they’ll continue to “steal” content simply because they can get away with it. Ad blockers just make it easier than ever to do such stealing.
