So much truth in this article. Emotions are like waves that come and go. All we can do is ride them and know that the bad waves will pass and the good waves will come again. Grasping at the wave of happiness can only cause frustration and disappointment and an inability to believe that happiness will return. Controlling the brain processes that are the source of our emotions is impossible so the only way to propagate happiness is to sit back and enjoy the waves with a good spirit.
