Great article. If you do follow up, I’d like to hear much more about “Always follow up and always ask for feedback.” When is that appropriate and when not? Follow up with whom? Is it not stalker-y?
On a related bent, I will say, anyone who has ever worked with me (I’ve been fortunate, and I hire well) who has also pressed me to do things for them- things I would otherwise be uncomfortable or not ready to do proactively- I have never regretted doing and I respect and admire them more for pressing.
