Dirk Nowitzki is a Power Forward for the Dallas Mavericks. Nowitzki is from Würzburg, Germany. Dirk Nowitzki has been the face of the Dallas Mavericks since 2004. He is 36 years old. Dirk got married to Jessica Olsson in 2012. He has one little girl, Malaika.

Dirk has broken many records in his career, this being one of them. In 2009, he broke the team-record for most points scored in the 4th quarter (29 points). He has become 1 of 3 players in NBA history with 1,000+ 3-pointers and 1,000+ blocks. in 2005–06, he became the third player in league history to average at least 26.0 points while shooting 90.0% or better from the line. Those are just some of his accomplisments throughout his career.

Dirk has won one NBA championship. He is also the only player sized at least 7 ft to win the Three-Point Shootout. He has been on the all-NBA team 12 times. He holds the record for the third longest free-throw make streak in NBA history. He is the Dallas Mavericks’s all-time statistical leader in games, points, rebounds, field goals, three-point field goals and free throws. But wait there’s more!

Dirk got the Best NBA Player ESPY Award 2011, Best Male Athlete ESPY Award.(also in 2011) He got the Naismith Legacy Award in 2012, Magic Johnson Award in 2015. He is a 13 time NBA all-star, and there’s many more of his achievements that were not mentioned.
