Designers shouldn’t code. They should study business.

I think this a brilliant idea. Identifying as an entrepreneur (with an obsession for design), I’m actually looking at this from the other side of the fence.

Despite wanting to build my own products, I value the opportunity of working (and learning) for a company I admire — the kind I might want to founder in future years. And yet, applying to work as an entrepreneur at a company makes no sense, because you aren’t offering any specific skills.

But this article highlights the value of a business-background in fundamental roles like design. I might just start calling myself an ‘unskilled’ designer!
