Hokie homicide was planned

Two Virginia Tech students schemed up a plot days before killing 13-year-old Nicole Lovell, according to the latest testimonies. David Eisenhower and Natalie Keepers picked the location of the murder, bought the shovel and cleaning supplies to wipe up the mess. It is a terrible story the whole way around and both suspects are still be prosecuted in the court of law.

DC cop not charged in subway shooting

Prosecutors have stated that they will not press charges against the Metro Transit Police officer who shot and killed a man last year. The man, Gross, ran at the officer with a branch and hit her in the head even after repeated warnings that if he did not drop the branch he would be shot. The officials on the case concluded that their was not enough evidence that showed the officer used excessive force or criminal intent in shooting Gross.

Physical exercise is now mandatory in school

Virginia’s House of Delegates just approved bill where public schools must allow their children to participate in some sort of physical exercise everyday. The students must get at least an average of 20 minutes of physical activity daily. This applies to to the lower school, or more specifically kindergarten through the fifth grade students.
