If I had to guess, I’d say people say the two are similar because they’re both an elevated public green space spanning multiple blocks of an iconic American metropolis.

In fact, this whole article is a comparison. That’s what comparison is—looking at two things to see the similarities and dissimilarities.

I think this is a great examination of where public funds are going, and how public spaces mesh with their environment, but the headline is a bit silly and hypocritical.
