What Does Josh.ai Cost? Price, Details, and How to Buy

Home automation is a complicated space with both expensive options (Crestron, Savant), as well as mass consumer products (Philips Hue, Belkin WeMo). At Josh.ai, our goal is to provide the best experience possible, and that often involves custom installing the system specific to each home.

Some homes, like the one pictured on the left, can be quite complex with multiple levels, indoor/outdoor features, garage doors, pools, whole-home audio, and more. As a result, Josh.ai needs to integrate properly with the various components in order to build a seamless experience.

We typically recommend consulting a professional installer (sometimes called an integrator) when looking into Josh.ai. For smaller, less complicated homes the process can be quite simple. Often, however, you may decide to install hardware such as Lutron lighting, in-wall speakers, invisible thermostats, and more. A professional installer will be able to quote, procure, and install this hardware to ensure it works perfectly with Josh.ai.

When asked about the price of a Josh.ai system, an initial assessment either by the installer, or directly with us over the phone is the best way to price the system in order to make sure you get the experience you’d like. You can always contact us directly at sales@jstar.ai or by visiting josh.ai/getjosh.

When you buy a Josh.ai system, we offer a buy vs lease option. In the buy option, it’s a one-time flat fee which includes 5 years of service, warranty, software updates, remote access, cloud access, unlimited users, unlimited devices, and more. With the lease option you get the same 5 year coverage and terms, but paid out on a monthly basis. After the 5 years there are options to extend.

Again, reach out any time if you’d like to discuss pricing, what’s included, how Josh.ai works, or other questions.
