You wrote a nice article about why Uber and Lyft leaving Austin is bad for Austin. The problem I have with your article (and a lot of the discussion around the topic) is that ride sharing will eventually come back. Yes, its going to be painful for a few months (maybe a year?) until they do but the real discussion should be around the regulation. What sort of regulations do we need for TNC’s and who should be responsible for enforcing them?
