All I felt from the memo was a man who was afraid to even have his own original thoughts without being judged. Such patronizing and hateful words from your article actually validates a the majority of his concerns expressed in his memo.
I don’t condone what this man has done. He certainly did not have to go public with this memo… but now it’s hard to believe that explaining his feelings to HR in private would’ve yielded a different result. With misunderstanding and stubborn agendas from male, females, and minorities at an all time high this man would have been slandered behind closed doors.
BEFORE YOU CRUCIFY ME IN THE COMMENTS:
-This still did not justify the manner in which the former employee chose to express his concerns.
-I blame the former employee’s poor communication skills for this situation NOT the female, minority, or overall male demographic’s
-My stance in this situation is neutral. I’m just sad to see another unfortunate event add to the increasing divide we are seeing in our country.
