Thanks for sharing! This is an excellent summation of what I’m constantly having to coach clients on at work when it comes to SEO and why their website’s experience actually matters.
One of the most important things that I always coach clients on is that SEO is not the end game… it’s merely a step, and that they need to carefully consider the pathway that they are inviting people down.
What Google’s gotten incredibly clever at is understanding is the actual value of the content on a site or page and how it should rank accordingly. Keywords, while they have their time and place, are an incredibly small component of the value proposition provided through a page of content.
