Reading Rockets 2 vs Gloucester Saxons

With Head Coach Josh Thorne absent due to Tonsillitis and current top scorer Edd Potter called up for his first D1 game it meant Assistant Coach Lee Babbage took to helm of his first game and provided an opportunity for others to step up.

This was an Intense game from both sides with multiple fouls getting called throughout the game, Gloucester were a much more guard orientated outfit and caused Rockets some match up problems throughout the game. The score went back and forth all game. 30–34 at half time and it was very competitive.

Near the end of Q4 the game intensified with 1.20 left on the clock Rockets were down 65:58! Rockets gained ground with a 3 pointer and with 0.6 left on the clock after a time out we got a foul and finish with a free throw winning 65:66.

Top scorers were:

Jack Spiller 17

Charles Acquah-Davis 16

Tom Goodyear 11
