We are what we eat, or ingest. To be awake, you need nutrition. You can’t just stop a bad habit and expect to feel better with nothing added. The American diet has nutritional voids that foil our comfort and ability. How many people consider their fiber and mineral intake in the diet they chose? [I drink milk(lactose free for intolerance)and use nutritional yeast for partial but significant nutritional fail-safes.]

We don’t want to be less aware, but part of life is enjoying substances. Coffee and chocolate affect our mood, but don’t particularly make us unaware and are nutritional positives. Same with coca plants. Why can’t we chew on coca leaves?

I think our corporate government would rather we were unaware. That’s why toxic booze is okay, but non-toxic pot not. There is a stimulating tea they drink in Yemen from a bush called “kat” or “quat”, but we’re helping to bomb the shit out of them right now, of which we are not supposed to be aware.

We may need more than a walk. We could use humility from maybe a good understanding slap in the face.

Thanks. We needed that.
