It’s day two of the O’dark:30 wake-ups. The AC is humming in the background, the house is still and the coffee is smelling pretty great. The conditions seem just right to start slinging some code.

This evening we are heading to one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Their food tastes a lot like my grandma’s did. That makes this restaurant special. You know it’s legit when there’s no mention of “cajun” on the menu. It’s just “food.” And man, is it great. So, I’m thankful to be spending more time with family. I’m thankful for the memories of those who’ve passed.

And that’s your gratitude for today…
