One Year of Gratitude — Day 37

The weather conditions in Louisiana have been a bit wet since we got here. Looks like there’s rain in the forecast all the way up to August 23rd. That’s as far as weather.com is forecasting, so there may even be more rain coming. I don’t recall ever seeing anything like that. At least the heat hasn’t been overbearing. The rains are definitely helping with that.

No matter how gloomy the outlook, things could always be worse. The rain is falling straight down, so we’ve got that going for us <smile>. I’m grateful the rains aren’t hurricanes. I’m grateful there’s no flooding where we are. I’m grateful my daughter has accepted that we can’t change the weather. I’m grateful we’re all safe, comfortable and happy.
