One Year of Gratitude — Day 7

One week down, 51 to go. Yay for that. One thing that’s helping keep me on task is my daily Journal. I’ve been using a product called SELF Journal by a company called Best Self. It’s different from any other Journal I’ve attempted in the past. It’s an old fashioned “write with your hands” journal. A funny thing is that my writing hand was sore for a couple days after I started. I kid you not. I had to get used to writing again. Anyhow, I’m still compelled to return to it every morning, and evening. I’m using the free sample that’s available for download from their site. To the best of my knowledge it’s exactly the same as the journal that’s for sale. It’s just not a fancy, hard bound book. I had to print it myself. So, thank you Best Self. I am thankful for the free download of your awesome journal.
I am thankful that when I woke up this morning, my first thought was “what am I grateful for today?” While this is only day 7 of my challenge, I’ve been at this daily gratitude thing for about a month now. I started on Facebook, and then moved here to Medium. The power of habit is becoming noticeable.
To you, the reader of these articles, I am thankful. Thanks to Medium.com, I can see the statistics of these posts. I can see that over 90% of the people reading this came from a link I posted on Facebook. A small percentage are coming from LinkedIn. Twitter and Reddit don’t seem to be generating any interest in what I’m writing. And that’s ok. It tells me there’s a high probability that I know you. I may know you well, or you may be an acquaintance. Either way, I appreciate your support. Thank you for taking time out of your day to read the thoughts I’ve conjured up each morning.
Have a great day!
