Building a Startup from the Ground up

The attention to detail it requires to succeed as a startup is mind-blowing . It is said that 8/10 startups fail. Source: Quartzy
In the past few months I’ve been actively brainstorming and asking myself: “What is the niche market missing from the tech sector?” “What kind of product would improve my life and the lives of others?” It then dawned on me, people want to accomplish goals in the real world, run that marathon they were thinking about eventually running, finally get that promotion that they totally deserve. What is the missing element? Other than the obvious ones discipline and grit, it occurred to me most people don’t follow a set schedule or see a need to in that case. Most of us seem to wing it and carry on with our lives, but what can really propel an individual to the next stage of their life is a schedule. As much as and ordinary life with a bachelors degree, and a 9 to 5, the starter house the picket fence enchilada seems appealing, some people settle with those same things because they think they can’t accomplish what they want to. To enter the next phase, we have to harness something inside us: a fire that cannot be quenched mixed with a realistic schedule is the key in unlocking our goals. That scheduling process can make or break us. As a Developer it means taking that class from Udacity in Deep Learning; or for a CEO it means getting the MBA from Wharton that you always wanted. There are some great applications out there for both mobile and desktop i.e. Monday.com , Jira , Asana and Trello to name a few that help you simply get things done. The irony is I’m using a competitor’s product to build a better one how’s that for a laugh.
