Why I Write

I had made a log of my journeys on Facebook while I was living them. People told me they enjoyed my writing style and thought I should do something more with it. I am temporarily physically disabled in this moment, so I have the time to give it a try. It’s a little intimidating being on Medium and I have a great deal to learn. Whether it amounts to much or not, I know I will gain something along the way — and I hope you do too.

What I Write

I want to share my stories with people — because many of our life walks have similarities. I have overcome a lot of challenges and fears in my life and hope I can inspire others to do the same. Being free to do anything is amazing. There is nothing too out of the ordinary about me. I simply choose to walk out of my comfort into the unknown. Having done it myself, that is how I know you can do the same.

I have been sharing random tidbits, but I want to go back to the beginning where it all began. I have been on a crazy adventure these past four and a half years. Having escaped an abusive relationship, I began listening to the Whisper Voice. It led me into uncharted territories which allowed me to examine myself and grow. I looked after a man who had cancer and transformed the atmosphere of the clinic. Then I was led to a new home by the spirit of a little girl. I shed off my belongings and began anew. There, I met a whole assortment of interesting characters, while taking on jobs I hadn’t considered before. I journeyed across the country and faced unimaginable challenges. Returning, I briefly took up life on a farm. Cows taught me a lot of wisdom. Finally, I began losing all my physical strength and had to move closer to my blood family. That is where I am now.

If you enjoy adventure or are terrified of trying something new, come follow me.
