Life is fleeting, that much is clear,
We’re born, we live, we die, it’s all quite austere

We strive for meaning, for purpose and proof,
But all we are is dust my friend and that’s the truth

Yet we try, we create, we keep on dreaming,
In hope, that in this life we find some meaning

But even if we don't achieve great feats,
We can still find joy in life’s little treats

So let’s enjoy this cosmic joke, with all its twists and turns,
And appreciate the absurdity, before it all burns

For in the end, it’s not the things we acquire,
but the memories we make and the laughs we inspire.
