Three poems on happiness

Happiness is a Joke

Happiness is a gathering storm
clapping winds, laughing skies
and flashes of light
Happiness is an excited child
standing by the door
and waiting for the first drop
of a reign of water
that never starts

Happiness are clouds
running nowhere, everywhere
but leaving you dry
after so much laughter

Laughter is the face
sad men wear
to tell stories of happiness

ha ha ha
happiness is a joke
taken too far
when hope is built
on what is fading

happiness should be filling
like the feeling of satisfaction
that causes laughter
to spill out through the lips
of a new man that
was once broken

happiness is finding home
after wandering the earth
searching for a reason
to be happy

of all days,
on the day a man dies,
it should be his happiest
