Following the Tech Curators : Snapchat

You open the app, your stories are full, where do you even start?

Just like Twitter, SoundCloud, and reddit… Snapchat is all about curation. As more people adopt a platform I use on the daily, I’m finding ways to make this socially addicting app a tool rather than a time waster. Here are some entrepreneurs I’m “wasting” my time with.

Justin Kan

“What up snaps”, he says before introducing a startup lesson. This guy is hilarious. As co-founder of live video platforms Justin.tv and Twitch.tv, it makes sense why he popularized the term “lifecasting” and continues to amuse people on Snapchat. If you’re looking for entrepreneurial motivation, product reviews, and an inside scoop of the offices at Y Combinator definitely give him a follow.

Chris Sacca

I think he owns, what, 25% of Twitter now? This ex-Googler also invested in Kickstarter, Instagram, AND Uber; his firm Lowercase Capital has been one of the most Unicorn rich since dot com. He’s also been on Shark Tank lately, so you might even get to see some behind the scenes shots. If you’re ready to keep up with a Venture Capitalist, he should be your first choice.

Everette Taylor

This growth hacker extraordinaire has been extremely active on Snapchat and has a lot for us to learn from. He likes to look at the qualitative user data as opposed to straight metrics, which makes sense for someone who has mastered the millennial marketing problem. Expect productivity tips and motivation for your passion projects when you watch his story; this guy is always grinding.
