Yeah, so as another commenter stated I prefer to use eject, rather than a boilerplate. I have greater confidence that Facebook will keep CRA dependencies up-to-date (boilerplates tend to grow stale).
I also find that boilerplates tend to throw in everything and the kitchen sink. For example, the boilerplate you linked includes a bunch of stuff many React developers will never use.
If it’s working for you, then that’s what matters. I think for those without a currently-established solution, though, CRA is a better bet.
