Consistency ain’t easy.

This post isn’t for you. It’s for me.

I’ll admit–I’m conducting a little experiment for my own consistency habits. Thoughts about writing, and putting ideas out there have been stirring in my head for quite some time, and I’ve honestly been scared (or lazy) about posting.

I just want to put something into the world for 31 days straight days. The last 31 day “habit” I successfully completed was doing meditation using the Calm app, and it profoundly changed my meditation habits and overall outlook on life. While I don’t meditate every single day, it’s something I now do most days.

This year I’ve come to a conclusion. And I could be completely off base with this conclusion. But it would seem that consistency is the thing that separates those who aspire to do things, and those who actually do things.

Which is why I want to write on Medium for 31 days in a row. Writing for 31 days in a row won’t make me a writer, but it will make me a human who is at least consistent for a designated length of time.

I can’t be sure what I’ll be writing about, but most likely it’ll be a series of random philosophical musings, and I’ll be including my thoughts and feelings during the process. If you decide to stick around and see where this takes me–awesome. If not, I don’t blame you.

Here we go. Oy vey.
